Why I’m starting Lanturn
Lanturn is the incubator for your creative idea. The kind meant for an audience.
Daily life fills up quickly with its morning routines, work schedules and demanding notifications.
So when a creative spark comes, it's hard to give it the consistency it needs. A post, a game, an app, even a neighborhood get together, all have to fight an uphill battle.
But if you really want to make it happen, you no longer have to do it alone!
Lanturn is with you from the spark, through the indecision, the practical blockers, and the doubt of what others might think, until you are proud of the finished product.
To make it to the finish line, we have to constantly shift gears between open-ended creativity and practical project operations. For me, those modes started as parallel tracks.
My years building software engineering systems gave me the operational muscle. But projects never succeeded on excellent operations alone. They needed the soul that ties the user’s felt problem to the engineered solution.
As I got into standup comedy, writing, and organizing themed events, I developed trust in my own irrational inspiration. But without a structured process, even a single blog post took me months to publish, if at all.
Eventually, I blended the two worlds, which gave my ideas both the soul and the practical steps to make them real.
Progress happens week to week:
- Clarity at the center. You progressively crystalize the why, the what, and the how, anchoring every decision without constraining the idea too early.
- Weekly execution milestones. You don't track tasks. You decide the most important thing to get done this week, aligned with your vision.
- AI Thinking partner. An AI partner that helps you structure your thinking into decisive action.
- Peer Community. Real people who support you, offer perspectives, and become the first audience for your idea.
